For long enough the only people really getting into the swing of online shopping where the reasonable young, buying CD, DVD's etc as they could get them online at reduced prices as well as also saving themselves time. However, recent polls have suggested that the age gap in online shopping is becoming less of a factor and that in many cases those over 65 are becoming one of the biggest buyers online. One factor for this could be that many companies have turned to offering online discounts to drive traffic to their sites. Having perhaps limited pensions the elderly are often looking for the best deals and are finding them online.
